SUMMER WORSHIP AT DPC

 

We worship each Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

 

Be sure to join us for a Lemonade Fellowship served

on the lawn of the church following worship!

 

 

EVENING VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

 

Join us for VBS the week of July 13-17!

We’ll begin at 5:30 p.m. each day with dinner in the Fellowship Hall.

Activities include crafts, recreation, Bible teaching & all.

 

Plus two classes for adults:

Tamara Leonard Lara will lead a Parenting Class;

Kathy Kurkjian and Ruth Sweet will lead “Bible Stories.”

(This class will study the same texts the children will study for the week).

 

Join us!

 

 

DRIFT CASSEROLES

 

Casseroles are needed to feed the youth & adults who are attending

 this year’s mission trip to Drift, Kentucky.

 

If you’d like to prepare and donate a casserole, a sign up sheet will be posted downstairs in the Social Hall beginning this Sunday.

 

 

LOCAL YOUTH MISSION TRIP

 

Over the week of June 28th to July 3rd Rev. Leonard-Lara will be taking Junior & Senior High youth for a week in DC to learn about and do ministry for the homeless.  Please hold Tamara and the youth in your

 thoughts and prayers!

 

 

 

WORSHIP THIS WEEK   

Sunday, June 28th at 9:30 am

 

v     Please bring a friend.  It is always appropriate to invite others to worship with us!!

v     Worship is ts 9:30 a.m.

v     Our Chancel Choir will sing at the 9:30 a.m. service      

 

SUNDAY SCHOOL

v     Will return on a weekly basis in September!

v     THANKS to our gifted and dedicated Sunday School teachers who were recognized during worship on June 14th!

 

 

 

Good News to Celebrate!

 

We have reached our pledge goal of $90,000

to cover the expenses for the necessary renovation

of our stained glass windows!

 

The first of our stained glass windows were recently removed from our Sanctuary for renovation. These windows will be re-done and put back in place in about two months.

 

Thanks to all who pledged!
