Darnestown Presbyterian Church offers a variety of opportunities for members and visitors to build connections and friendships beyond the traditional activities of worship, study and mission.

Fellowship Hour - We gather each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Everyone is invited to the Fellowship Hall for a short period of refreshments and fellowship. It is a great time to catch up with other members and get to know visitors. It is during this time when the congregation gathers to celebrate special events such as confirmations and baptisms, or special milestones of the congregants. It is also the time when mothers are recognized on Mother’s Day, fathers compete in the Wacky Tie contest on Father’s Day, and ice cream socials occur when you least expect them. If you would like to volunteer to provide refreshments one week, please contact a Deacon.

Annual Events – DPC makes great effort in arranging annual events that can be enjoyed by all ages. This year, mark your calendar to join us for the Night at the Nat's Game, Women’s Holiday Bazaar, Christmas Caroling, church retreats, the Mother-Daughter Spring Dinner, and the pancake breakfast. From the good-hearted competition at the winter chili cook-off, to the fun and games at the fall church picnic, there is laughter and fellowship for all.

Small Groups - DPC strives to provide An array of small groups that meet the needs of our members. Some of these groups include:

Young at Heart - Members meet after the 11:00 a.m. worship service on the second Sunday of each month to go out to lunch and share what’s going on in their lives.

Women's Fellowship Group -  Meets the fourth Sunday of each month in the Parlor following the late service.

Dinners for Eight – Married couples and singles form groups of eight to meet periodically for dinner. A great way to spend quality time with new and old friends.

Men's Breakfast - The men of the Congregation are invited to meet for breakfast on a Saturday once a month.  Please check the calendar and join us for an interesting and lively discussion of a new topic each month!

VIPS (Very Important Presbyterian Seniors) -  Meets for lunch on the second Monday of the month at noon in the Fellowship Hall.

Thursday Morning Bible Study -  We meet in the Parlor from 10:00 am to noon on the second and fourth Thursday of each month.

Purl and Pray Group -  Meets for knitting, fellowship and prayer on the first Sunday of each month in the parlor following the late service.

Darnestown Presbyterian Women - maintains an active calendar of events and activities for the women of the Church and their guests.
