Confirmation Classes are taught annually for youth who are interested in church membership. There is no set age for the classes, but generally youth in grades seven or eight take part. Our Associate Pastor and volunteer elders lead the classes that run for six weeks. Topics covered include an understanding of faith, the trinity, getting to know Jesus, the role of the church, and dealing with the scripture. The confirmation study concludes with each student writing their own personal statement of faith that is then reviewed by Session. Confirmation Classes begin after the first of the year and conclude with the students being welcomed into membership in April. Anyone with a child of confirmation age may contact Reverend Leonard-Lara for more information.
